This month, I have focused us on the hundreds of promises of God. For instance, find one particular verse that speaks straight to your heart, and one you feel God recorded just for you. Memorize it and it will be available to you whenever your emotions want to take you on a mental side journey.
We know this life will be full of U-turns, unmarked dirt roads, and being completely lost. But we can take comfort and draw strength from God. Charles Spurgeon says, “If all things do not always please me, they will always benefit me.”
Once you have your favorite verse, you will appreciate wherever life takes you because mentally, “You Are Here” with God!
My personal favorites are Romans 8:28 — “And we know that all that happens to us is working for our good if we love God and are fitting into his plans,” and Psalms 46:10 — “Be still and know that I am God.”
