This month, we have focused on the promises of God to encourage ourselves. Now what do you suppose we do with all this confident energy? Do we deluge social media with a tidal wave of selfies or do we go out and change the world? Wait, changing the world sounds big! Not always. Sometimes it can comprise a million little things.
Mother Teresa said,
We can do no great things, only small things with great love.
Most of us won’t do big things, but we can all change our world, one person at a time.
Our lives comprise a million little things, and these things can change lives.
God expects us to pass on to others the love and grace we receive from Him through Jesus. Our mission on earth is not to impress, but to bless. Whatever we do should have a core focus on people. Loving kindness should be our superpower, flowing out of our faith in Christ. Never underestimate the power of love. 1 Corinthians 13, referred to as the love chapter, pronounces in verse 8,
Love never fails.
Don’t diminish the value of your million little things. Over a lifetime, they will prove priceless.
What is important is faith expressing itself in love. Galatians 5:6
For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself. Galatians 5:14
Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13
