Quotes Comparing Moving to Therapy

Quotes

These quotes relate to my post comparing moving to therapy. Moving creates the perfect opportunity to simplify and de-clutter our lives—physically and emotionally!

As an extra bonus, check out Billy Graham’s simple definition of faith. Why do we try to make things so complicated? More and more I am drawn to the simple life, how about you?

Great quotes Dana… I have one in jest… “Max hates moving washer and dryers!” just joking. I’m glad you are moved and settled. We are selling our house within a year or so but we have to straighten it up and get it ready. We want to move somewhere else in an even more rural community.
Oh…I was asked to do a sermon a few months ago when our preacher took a break…I did it on Political Corectness…it was a learning experience.

I agree, appliances are the worst! We stayed in our tiny town, I don’t think I could live in the big city again. Good job on taking on the sermon! Public speaking can be frightening, but it can also be rewarding. Like you said, a learning experience! Would you do it again?

It was my second one…I thought I was going to be fine….once I got up there…the nervous feeling hit…it took me around 5 minutes to get past it.
We live in the middle of 3 acres but our community has been swamped and house values have skyrocketed…so we can sell at a good price and buy the next one with cash with some left over.

Sounds like a good deal for the house. I hope you find just what you want!

Well said, Dana! Simple beats complex. After removing clutter, acquiring more seems unthinkable. As Graham emphasized in the link, “committing to Him” is the key that unlocks the benefits of faith. Likewise, committing to simple adds power to our lives.

I agree! For me, living simple means living lighter and brighter! 😎

Great quotes and graphics, the idea that our memories reside in us not our possessions is important. Linda 🙂

Thank you for your comment Linda! Yes, I think that quote reminds us where our focus should be: people and not stuff.
