There is no one in the world just like you. Your beliefs, thought processes and filters have been developed through your life experiences. Your relationship with God is unique to you.
God has given each of us a free will, the ability to make our own life. He also offers us a roadmap. The Bible can help us use our free will to make our best life.
Although the map may be the same for everyone, each of us is on a unique journey. If we were all the same we would be squirrels. Just running around storing up nuts for the winter and trying to avoid traffic!
In other words, each day is full of decisions. Many things will try to pull you away from God. Be mindful of relationships, what you listen to, watch, and read. Consider if your choices and actions bring you closer to God. Does a decision make you question His existence and plan for your life?
Micah 6:8, The Message: “But he’s already made it plain how to live, what to do, what God is looking for in men and women. It’s quite simple: Do what is fair and just to your neighbor, be compassionate and loyal in your love, and don’t take yourself too seriously — take God seriously.”
