Bye Bye 2025

Bye Bye 2025

Is it just me, or did 2025 zip by like a cat with zoomies?

I hope you take some time to reflect on your victories, realize how you have grown from your challenges, and rejoice that each new day (and new year) brings new opportunities!

At Regular Girl Devos ever since I ditched messing with the SEO stuff,(fellow bloggers will get this one), I have experienced a renewed sense of anticipation and fun in my writing. I look forward to exploring ways I can encourage readers to endure, enjoy, and embrace every single day. I’m excited to share how amazing God is and how He loves all of us.

A special thank you to all who leave comments. Your words are so kind and I very much appreciate your thoughtfulness.

The Year in Review

This year, Keith at Various Ramblings of a Nostalgic Italian, invited me to submit a guest post. This was a first for me, and it gave me a chance to write something a little different. Keith worked as a radio DJ for many years, so when I shared, How Radio Changed My Life, he had some interesting notes to add. If you missed it, I hope you check out my post and Keith’s site, too!

Now, with a nod to the great Casey Kasem, here is the countdown of my three most-viewed posts from 2025:

  • Coming in at number three, God is Creative. This little post will help you consider what God has created you for.
  • At number two, full of encouragement to start any day, is Sunny Side Up!
  • And finally at number one, Quotes: Names Matter. Who doesn’t enjoy good quotes? This set has a fun bit about Red Skelton. Do you remember him?

What’s New For Next Year

Introducing Mindful Caravan!

This new sister site to Regular Girl Devos is strictly graphic-based (no AI). With nine categories and lots of topics to choose from, you can instantly have a calming nature moment, enjoy tips for self-care, get inspiration for your journal, read great quotes to challenge you, or read Bible verses to lift you up. This is just the beginning! There will be many more adventures to explore throughout the year.

Hop in and ride along! MindfulCaravan.com, packed with creative fun, will hit the road in January. Look for updates on Regular Girl Devos.

My prayer for you in 2026 is that you will realize how much God is there for you. Keep in mind these words from Philippians 4:6-8, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.”

I look forward to cheering you on in the new year!

“Day after day and night after night they keep on saying, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty— the one who always was, who is, and who is still to come.” Revelation 4:8
