Monday Motivation: Connected

One more Monday Motivation for you: connected. This is my last post in this series, but I hope I have encouraged you to continue practicing a positive mindset at the start of each week.

Right now, you have everything you need to be successful, as long as you stay connected to God. Jesus said, “Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me. Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me, you can do nothing.” John 15:4-5.

With God’s connection, we are limitless! We can trust God instead of trying to force circumstances our way or compromising to make someone else happy. If we stay connected to God, we will naturally receive what we need from the hand of God.

Not that it will be easy. We have to fully trust in God’s timing and plan. We will learn through hardships and challenges. Through prayer, God will supply us with true love, courage, and forgiveness. Yield to Him and don’t put so much stock in our own negative emotions.

You are not on your own. You may feel limited, but God is limitless. Proverbs 19:21 says, “You can make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail.” To me, this says, don’t worry. Your job? Stay connected to the true source of peace and confidence! C.S. Lewis says, “It is not your business to succeed, but to do right. When you have done so, the rest lies with God.”
