A Symphony of Life

A Symphony of Life

God created a Symphony of Life. He imagined every beautiful detail. Let us be thankful for the pure wonder of our world!

Our bodies are intricate and resilient. Our skin is washable and able to heal from wounds. We can enjoy fresh foods, flavors, smells, textures and feelings. If we lose a sense, another becomes more powerful.

We share the common building blocks of life with animals. The variety in nature is unfathomable. Tiny insects, enormous creatures that live in the depths of the sea, wild beasts that prowl the Serengeti. Revel in the beauty of rugged mountains, arid deserts, and the infinite waves of sea. Take comfort in the cycles and colors of the seasons. From the bright flowers and greens of springs and summer, to the deep red, yellow, and orange of fall, to the restful blues and blankets of snow in winter.

Be amazed that we have developed medicines, invented machines, controlled electricity, and harnessed atoms. We have analyzed mathematical equations to understand the forces in our world and travel beyond our planet. The creativity of our minds makes beautiful music, from classical to rock and roll. We write books that sweep us away to distant places. In plays, movies, and television, we explore our humanity and community.

Then, at the end of our days, we can be fearless of leaving this life, certain that what awaits us is even more wonderful. A heaven with no pain, no sickness, no hatred, no doubts, no questions. All of heaven filled with the Glory of God and all of us filled with peace and praise forever!

For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.

Romans 1:20 NLT

Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand.
