You Can Move on With God

You can move on with God

Have you decided it is time for a change and are ready to take your first step to move forward? If you are feeling apprehensive, don’t worry. You can confidently move on with God. He offers all the tools you need to make it through any challenges to reach success.

“Once you become aware that the main business that you are here for is to know God, most of life’s problems fall into place of their own accord.”
— J.I. Packer

What does your move look like? Picture yourself there. Imagine your new life. Make a plan and take steps toward your move. But how do you know you are on the right path and making the right decisions? Just ask God.

God speaks through his words written in the Holy Bible. To hear from Him, take time to read, study, pray, and listen. Allow God to give encouragement and strength. Jesus tells us we will get what we need in Matthew 7:7-8: “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.”

Ask for guidance and God’s wisdom. Proverbs 3:5-8 encourages us, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil. Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones.”

Jesus Promises Help You Move on With God

Jesus promises us the Holy Spirit, that still, small voice within us, acting as our Advocate. The Holy Spirit is also translated as our Comforter, Encourager, and Counselor. Jesus explains in John 14:15-17, “If you love me, obey my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth.”

Remain open to change, convinced in your heart that God is with you. Jesus gives us the keys to the kingdom. “And that’s not all. You will have complete and free access to God’s kingdom, keys to open any and every door: no more barriers between heaven and earth, earth and heaven. A yes on earth is yes in heaven. A no on earth is no in heaven.” Matt 16:19 MSG

Reach out with your heart and embrace the move you long to realize. With all this heavenly support, what have you got to lose?

Next week in step two, we get rid of the junk, save what is special, and make way for the new!

Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.

Deuteronomy 31:8 NLT
